As products become increasingly sensitive to ESD, production operators and coordinators have to work in a particularly demanding technical environment. Training your teams is therefore essential to ensure that good practices and appropriate procedures are followed.

The IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standard also recommends training and maintaining the skills of everyone who works in an ESD-sensitive environment.

Eurostat provides training experts, supervised by the Chair of the French committee (TC 101 working group) dedicated to ESD, who is also a permanent voting member of the IEC.

Eurostat offers three complementary formats to train your teams:

Level 1 — Awareness (half-day)Audience: anyone who may need to factor static-control requirements into design, production, testing, maintenance, purchasing or process integration.

Online modules, perfect for learning at your own pace.

These courses are designed to raise awareness and train professionals who work with electronic equipment sensitive to electrostatic discharge. Through interactive modules, participants learn to identify sources of risk, adopt the necessary preventive measures and comply with standards to ensure the safety and quality of the products they handle. Two levels are available:

Level 1

Audience: operators, production staff, supervisors.

Objectives: understand why and how faults or defects occur; become aware of the risks and consequences of not following prevention rules and instructions.

Level 2

Audience: engineers, technicians, support or supervisory staff.

Objectives: ensure the rules are followed, for yourself and your colleagues; know the various methods and tools for carrying out all measurements in the field.
